Food Valley
I have always been fascinated by the close connection between food, craftsmanship, culture, regional value creation, and innovation. Before joining the University of Bayreuth, I gained several years of practical experience in the food industry and gastronomy as a trained chef.
Through my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Supply Management and my Master’s degree in Regional Management, I was able to further develop this practical perspective from both a scientific and strategic standpoint and later apply it in practice as a project manager at the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.

Food Valley
I support the Food Valley Kulmbach as a research assistant and Innovation Architect at the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Bayreuth. In this role, I work to strengthen the connections between academia, industry, startups, students, and regional stakeholders in the fields of food, nutrition, and health. My focus lies on developing practice-oriented transfer, innovation, and entrepreneurship formats that transform research, ideas, and regional food expertise into concrete applications, collaborations, and new entrepreneurial impulses.
