Since July 2020, I have been working as a research assistant at the University of Bayreuth. During my time at UBT, I was able to work on many exciting projects to build up the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and to anchor the topic of entrepreneurship in the Upper Franconian region. Beyond the research in the field of entrepreneurship, I was responsible for the development and implementation of innovative transfer formats and thus actively worked on networking different actors in the context of entrepreneurship from the region and bringing the topic to the region. In addition, I contributed to the conception of the Digitalization & Entrepreneurship study program and designed and implemented interdisciplinary courses.

As a junior researcher, I am engaged in empirical research projects in the field of entrepreneurship. In particular, I study (social) entrepreneurial teams and investigate which factors are crucial for the success of these teams. Here, the understanding of values within the teams, the social orientation, but also the psychological well-being of the founders is a special focus of my research. For example, I am concerned with the question of how entrepreneurial teams can increase their psychological well-being and how traumatic life events or the issue of uncertainty influence founders and entrepreneurial teams in the long term.
