Since July 2020, I have been working as a research assistant at the University of Bayreuth. During my time at UBT, I was able to work on many exciting projects to build up the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and to anchor the topic of entrepreneurship in the Upper Franconian region. Beyond the research in the field of entrepreneurship, I was responsible for the development and implementation of innovative transfer formats and thus actively worked on networking different actors in the context of entrepreneurship from the region and bringing the topic to the region. In addition, I contributed to the conception of the Digitalization & Entrepreneurship study program and designed and implemented interdisciplinary courses.

Entrepreneurial Behavior
As a researcher in the field of entrepreneurship, I conduct empirical research on the psychology of (social) entrepreneurship. My work is driven by the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the human, and particularly the psychological, foundations of entrepreneurial behaviour. At the core of my research lies the interplay between individual, team-level, and institutional factors.
I examine value orientations, prosocial behaviour, and the social orientation of new ventures, as well as the political and institutional frameworks that shape entrepreneurial activity. Furthermore, I am interested in the psychological well-being of entrepreneurs.
The objective of my research is to enhance our understanding of the role of individuals in entrepreneurship and to underscore the significance of prosocial behaviour for sustainable entrepreneurial processes.
